27 May The University of Granada consolidates its position among the top 200 universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.

The UGR continues to position itself as an international reference by consolidating its presence among the top 200 in the world in 13 scientific fields after the celebration of the latest edition of the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025. This consolidates the University of Granada as the leader in Andalusia and one of the most relevant in the Spanish university system as a whole.

The excellent positions achieved in the different areas were as follows:

– Sports Sciences (51-100)

– Odontology (51-120)

– Education (101-150)

– Mathematics (140)

– Hospitality and Leisure Management (151-175)

– Archaeology (151-200)

– Agriculture and Forestry (151-200)

– Nursing (151-200)

– Psychology (151-200)

– Modern Languages (151-200)

– Pharmacy and Pharmacology (151-200)

– Linguistics (151-200)

– Computer Science and Information Systems (184)

With respect to the 2024 edition, the UGR improves its position in 11 specific fields, some of which enter the ranking for the first time, such as Civil Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Hospitality and Leisure Management.

The results reflect that the UGR consolidates its leadership as the first Andalusian university in most of the areas and occupying privileged positions at national level, this reflects the commitment of the University of Granada with excellence and international orientation.
