26 Oct AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF GRANADA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF COSTA RICA
Last Friday, 23 October, UGR rector Pedro Mercado and UCR rector Carlos Araya signed a collaboration agreement between the two institutions with the aim of strengthening academic, cultural and scientific ties, as well as expanding opportunities for university cooperation. It will also promote student mobility and the exchange of academic and research staff.
The agreement will be valid for four years and may be renewed by mutual agreement between both parties. It provides for the exchange of information on academic programmes, research projects, and academic, scientific and cultural initiatives of mutual interest. Through these actions, the universities seek to promote specialised training, the development of joint research, and the creation of academic collaboration networks.
The two universities will establish a Joint Committee comprising two representatives from each institution. This body will be responsible for proposing and coordinating programmes and activities, monitoring their implementation, and making recommendations to improve collaboration.
