Starting the 2025–2026 University Year in Granada

On September 15, the new academic year officially began at the University of Granada. This year, around 44,876 undergraduate students have resumed their classes, of whom 11,940 are new students. Within this group, there are 7,665 women and 4,285 men. In total, the UGR currently has 49,925 students.

All university services are already established and functioning: classrooms, libraries, dining halls, scholarships, support programs, and transportation. In addition, the institution has launched initiatives to expand study spaces and improve student mobility through agreements with the Metropolitan Transport Consortium.
