22 Sep 12th University–City of Granada Race: Sport for All

The University of Granada, through its Sports Activities Centre and in collaboration with the Granada City Council’s Department of Sports, is organising the 12th University–City of Granada Race, an event open both to the university community and to the public. The race will take place on 7 and 8 November 2026, with the start and finish at the Fuentenueva University Walkways.

The event will feature two categories. The children’s race will take place on Saturday 7 November at 11:00 am, while the adult 10-kilometre race will be held on Sunday 8 November at 10:00 am. Anyone can take part, whether or not they are a member of the University of Granada and whether or not they are a registered athlete, provided that they complete the registration process correctly.

Registration will remain open until 11:59 pm on 2 November, or until all race numbers have been allocated. For adults, entry starts at €12 during the first week, although the price will gradually increase depending on the registration date. Entry for children costs €6. This year’s edition also sees the return of the special UGR Campus prize.

Adult race numbers can be collected on Saturday 7 November and, on race day itself, between 8:00 and 9:00 am. The organisers have also arranged a collaborative network of 23 defibrillators distributed along the route and in the start and finish areas.
