Exhibition “Artificial Generation”

The students of the Master’s in Production and Research in Art will open the exhibition “Artificial Generation” on June 13th at the Faculty of Bellas Artes, which will run until July 7th.

This exhibition aims to explore the changes in the artistic and creative fields brought about by society, contemporary art, and the impact of artificial intelligence. It seeks to address, through art, the social, political, and economic concerns.

Its main focus is on Artificial Intelligence (AI) due to the significance it has gained with its incursion into the artistic field, also addressing the interaction between technology and humanity.

The immersion of AI in different artistic procedures (painting, photography, theatre, music, etc.) has generated a great debate that adds to the existing issues about creativity and originality, authorship, and ethics.

A new version of “Artificial Generation,” featuring different artists, will be subsequently exhibited at the Damián Bayón Centre in Santa Fe from July 10th to 25th.
