The Abu Dhabi foundation ‘”ADIA Lab” wants to make Granada a pioneer in this field. The City Council will cede the old Hospital de la Salud to become the headquarters of this centre in Europe. It is expected to be inaugurated in approximately one year’s time.

The director of ADIA Lab has conveyed his commitment to Spain, and in this case to the city of Granada, to make it a benchmark in artificial intelligence, something which will be very attractive for talent and companies to come to the city of Granada.

ADIA Labs will have a small team of workers who will be permanently based at the centre, which will also receive researchers to develop specific projects agreed with the UGR.

The Ministry for Digital Transition has expressed its full support for this project, and has previously financed University of Granada projects to be developed with this institution in Abu Dhabi.
