13 Jan THE 39TH EDITION OF THE GOYA AWARDS WILL BE CELEBRATED IN GRANADA.

The next 8th February 2025 Granada will host the 39th edition of the Goya Awards at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Granada. The news was announced by the mayoress of Granada Marifrán Carazo and the president of the Film Academy Fernando Méndez-Leite.

The actresses Maribel Verdú and Leonor Watling with the collaboration of José Coronado have made a spot in which they drive at full speed through Granada looking for the venue of the next celebration, the Palacio de Congresos.

On the other hand, the City Council and the Film Academy have prepared a special programme which began on 25th October with a concert by the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada and the OGC Choir where they played a selection of pieces from Spanish cinema. In the programme we can also find exhibitions, screenings of nominated films, educational and social activities, as well as a Goya Award where we can have our photo taken at a photocall in the Town Hall.
