27 Nov THE MATEDUCA PROJECT CELEBRATES 21ST EDITION

The aim of this project is to showcase the research activity carried out by the IMAG (Mathematics Institute of the UGR). The activities carried out are aimed at secondary school students from Granada and its province in order to highlight research in Mathematics. The project began in the 2019/2020 academic year and since then 1100 students have participated.

Several sessions are held during the academic year for secondary school students where they have the interaction of researchers in Mathematics from the University of Granada through competitions, games and talks.

The project is carried out thanks to the selfless help of teachers and researchers from the IMAG and volunteer students from masters, degree and doctorate courses, whose collaboration is essential for these sessions to be held year after year.

This project receives a grant from the Vice-rectorate for University Extension, Heritage and Institutional Relations, and is co-funded by all the Mathematics departments of the UGR, as well as the Faculty of Sciences, the Institute of Mathematics of the UGR, and occasionally other entities of the University of Granada.
