From October 23 to 25, the XXXV Jornadas Crue Sostenibilidad was held in Zaragoza, where the University of Granada was awarded the global recognition of environmental sustainability, highlighting two special mentions in the field of Water and Waste.

The working group for the Evaluation of University Sustainability (GESU) awards these recognitions annually to the Universities of Spain, emphasizing a greater commitment and action in environmental sustainability.

This is the second edition held where they seek to be a benchmark in universities nationwide. This is the first participation of the UGR, where they seek year after year to improve their overall rating.
