25 Feb The University of Granada is included in << The World Reputation Ranking 2025: top universities by Prestige>>

For the first time the UGR is positioned among the 300 best universities in the world, along with 7 Spanish universities. The entry in this prestigious ranking place the UGR among the 201-300 positions worldwide.

This milestone was achieved after the last update on 18 February 2025 in which only seven Spanish universities have managed to enter this ranking. Belonging to this group is a sign of reaffirming the commitment to excellence and international projection.

For this 2025 edition a methodology has been introduced that includes six key performance metrics and a more vigorous evaluation, among the main novelties we can highlight: a survey of more than 55,000 academics from all over the world, peer review and diversity in the voting.

The Spanish universities ranked alongside the University of Granada are: the University of Barcelona, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and Universidad de Valencia.
