According to the U-Ranking 2024 report, which ranks Spanish universities according to their performance in teaching, innovation and research.

This report presents two versions, the first U-Ranking Volume which ranks the universities according to the total volume of results, and the second U-Ranking Global, which adjusts the results to correct the effects of the different size of the institutions and make them more comparable with each other.

In the U-Ranking Volume, the UGR obtains the fourth position at national level. In the teaching section, it shares second place with the University of Valencia. On the other hand, in innovation and research it ranks third. In the Global U-Ranking the UGR is placed in the fourth group of universities.

In Andalusia, its potential continues to stand out and it obtains the first position in both rankings, and in the indicators of research, innovation and teaching.
