04 Nov X University-City of Granada Race

This officially recognized race by the Andalusian Athletics Federation aims to reach and limit participation to 1,531 people to commemorate the founding year of the University of Granada (UGR).

It is organized by the Sports Activities Center of the Vice-Rectorate of Students and University Life of the University of Granada, in collaboration with the Sports Department of the City Council of Granada. Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome, regardless of whether they are federated or affiliated with the university.

The event will be supervised by both volunteers and staff from the Sports Activities Center, as well as the Local Police.

Both the start and finish lines will be located in the university walkways of Fuentenueva, and the race will cover a distance of 10 km through some of the city’s and university’s emblematic sites.

There will be two races: one for minors on Saturday, November 9, and another for adults on November 10.

Each race will have several categories: 8 for minors, with distances ranging from 300 to 3,000 meters, and 15 for adults, of which 9 are based on federative categories, including a category for people with disabilities (minimum 33%), and 5 from the university community divisions.

The registration period ends on Monday, November 4, at 2 PM.
